Shrimp fried rice or Khao phat kung in Thai. This dish is popular type of fried rice.
It is delicious and easy to make. Serve with cucumber and a piece of lime.

  • 1  cup cooked  jasmine rice (  itís best  if you cooked rice finished you have to dry it out for 4-5 hours or 1 day old before cooking fried rice)
  • 5 large shrimp peeled and divined, Leave the tail on
  • 1-2 tablespoons, vegetable oil
  • 2 Glove chopped garlic
  • 1/4 cup carrot, cut in small pieces
  • 2 Tbsp onion, cut in small pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2  Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 2 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 Tsp. black soy sauce, If you don't have it just leave it
  • 1 pinch of pepper powder
  • 2 Tbsp sliced green onion
  • A piece of lime
  • slice cucumber

Cooking Method
  1. In a hot pan on medium heat. add vegetable  oil. Wait until oil is hot.
  2. Add  chopped garlic and stir until it has aromatic smell.
  3. Add carrot, onion stir fried for 1 min.
  4. Add egg stir fried for 30 sec to cook the yoke.
  5. Add shrimp cook shrimp until turns pink
  6. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, Mix well
  7. Add cooked rice and mix well
  8. Add sugar, salt, pepper powder, sliced green onion then stir fried for 30 sec.
  9. Remove to serving plate, sprinkle with slice green onion
  10. sever with cucumber and piece of lime
