Spicy Pork Sandwich
(Sandwich Sai Ka pow Moo sub)

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 glove garlic chopped
  • 6 fresh Thai chilies
  • 4 oz ground pork (or chicken/beef/tuna in the can)
  • 1/4 cup holly basil
  • 11/2 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoon black soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 4 pieces of bread cut the border

  1. Smash chilies with a stone mortar & pestle if you have one, or use the side or back of a knife. Smash garlic, and set aside with the chilies.
  2. Heat a pan over medium high heat then add cooking oil and swirl it in the pan until the oil very hot
  3. add the chillies and garlic and mix them in the hot oil until they become fragrant.
  4. add ground pork stir until turn pink
  5. add fish sauce, black soy sauce,oyster sauce, Sugar stri untill pork is cooked.
  6. Add holly basil and stir fry a few minutes then turn off the heat.
  7. Next used the sandwich maker. Lay down the bread in to the sandwich maker then add the Ka pow Moo sub on top then cover with other piece of bread then cook until done.
  8. Remove to serving plate .Enjoy
