Stir-fried crab in curry powder. In Thai called pbooh Pad Pong Karee, This is very popular in Thailand.

  • 8 oz fresh whole crab, or 1 large crab
  • 2 Tsp. Curry powder.
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 3 Glove chopped garlic
  • 2 Tsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. roasted chili paste (nam prik pao)
  • 1/2 Tsp. white pepper.
  • 1/4 cup onion cut in size bite pieces
  • 1/2 cup Bell pepper (Any color)
  • 1/2 Tsp. Sugar
  • 2 green onion cut into 1 inch long pieces
  • 2 stalks of Chinese celery, sliced 1 inch length

Cooking Method:
  1. Clean the crab by removing the shell and chopping into pieces; crack the claws and legs by hitting with the blunt edge of a heavy cleaver.
  2. In a blow add egg beaten, curry powder, milk, white pepper and roasted chili paste then mix well. set aside
  3. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over a medium heat. When hot, fry garlic until aromatic and golden. Add the crab and stir fry until almost cook.
  4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar. Stir fry about 1 min
  5. Add No. 2 to the pan and bring to a boil, stirring. Boil for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add onion, Bell pepper stir well until cooked
  7. Add Chinese celery, Stir fry 3 time. Turn off the heat
  8. Remove to Spoon onto a serving plate. Serve with hot rice.
