Stir-Fried King Crab with Black Pepper (Phu Pad Prik Thai Dum)

  • 10 oz King crab ( Or you can use 2 blue crab, Black crab)
  • cleaned and cut into large pieces
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 Glove chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper any color cut into size bite pieces
  • 1 tablespoons black peppercorns, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 green onion cut into 1 long inch length
  • 1 cilantro for garnish

Cooking Method:
  1. Heat the wok on high heat. Add chopped garlic, Stir fry until fragrant
  2. Add crab and stir fry until the crab is completely pink in color and the crab meat is opaque, not translucent
  3. Add Soy sauce, Oyster sauce, Sugar and black pepper. Stir well. If dry add a little bit of water.
  4. Add onion, bell pepper, Stir fry for 1-2 min.
  5. Add green onion. Stir fry 3 times. Turn of the heat
  6. Remove to serving pate. Garnish with cilantro.
  7. Serve right away with steamed jasmine rice.
