One of the most famous Thai dishes around the world is this one. It's easy to make and taste very great.

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable
  • 2 glove garlic chopped
  • 5 fresh Thai chilies if you don't like spicy don't put too much.
  • 1/2 ground pork (or chicken/beef)
  • 1/2 cup holly basil
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoon water.

Cooking Method
  1. Smash chilies with a stone mortar & pestle if you have one, or use the side or back of a knife. Smash garlic, and set aside with the chilies.
  2. Heat a pan over medium high heat then add cooking oil and swirl it in the pan until the oil very hot
  3. add the chilies and garlic and mix them in the hot oil until they become fragrant.
  4. add ground pork stir until turn pink
  5. add fish sauce, black soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar
  6. After the pork has cooked for ten seconds, it may start to stick to the pan, so add the water and keep stir until pork is cooked.
  7. Add holly basil and cook for 10 seconds then turn off the heat.
  8. serve with rice.
