Thai Iced Tea (Cha-Yen)


Ingredients:
  • 5 Tbsp Thai Tea
  • 4 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Sweetened  condensed milk or some evaporated milk or half and half, whole milk, whip cream
  • 2 Cups hot water

Cooking Method:
  1. In hot water. Add Thai Tea
  2. Stir well
  3. Let steep for 5 minutes
  4. Use filter, or strainer, cheesecloth to remove te tea from the hot water. If you use a strainer . Be sure strainer has small holes
  5. Pore the tea into the strainer over a pot
  6. Add sugar and stir until dissolved
  7. Add sweetened condensed milk and stir until dissolved
  8. allow tea mixture to cool to room temperature
  9. Pour into a glass with ice
  10. add half and half
  11. It is done. Enjoy!
