Tom Kha Talay is similar with Tom Ka Kai. Only differents Tom Kha Kai use Chicken but Tom Kha Talay use seafood.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lbs Mixed fresh Seafood, Cleaned /Cook seafood
  • 1 1/2 cup Coconut milk
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 2 Lemongrass, Thinly Sliced
  • 10 Sliced Galangal Root
  • 5 Kaffir lime Leaf, Torn in half
  • 5 Fresh Chillies, Cut into strip
  • 1/2 cup straw mushroom /white mushroom
  • 3 Tbsp. Fish Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. Lime Juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • a few spring cilantro Leaves for garnish

Cooking Method:

  1. In a pot on medium heat. Add coconut milk. Add water and bring to a boil
  2. When the coconut milk is boiling. Add galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and bring it to boil 1 more time until you can smell of the herb.
  3. Add seafood, mushroom and bring it to boil for a few minutes
  4. Add fish sauce, Sugar, lime juice and chili
  5. turn off the heat add cilantro before serving
