Tom Yum Talay is a Spicy Thai Seafood soup. It is very similar to Tom Yum Goong, but contains seafood.

  • 1  lbs Mixed Seafood, Cleaned
  • 3 cups Chicken Stock
  • 2 Lemongrass, Thinly Sliced
  • 1/3 cup  Galangal Root, Sliced
  • 5   Kaffir lime Leave, Torn in half
  • 5  Bird Chillies, Crushed
  • 1/2 cup  mushroom,Cut in half
  • 3 Tbsp.  Fish Sauce
  • 3-4 Tbs. Lime Juice
  • 1 Tbsp.  Num prik Pao ( roasted chili paste)
  • 1/3 cup milk or coconut milk
  • a few spring cilantro Leaves for garnish

Method :
  1. Bring the chicken stock to a boil, add the lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and boil for approximately 3 minutes.
  2. Add Num prik Pao, mushrooms,seafood and simmer on medium heat until cooked .
  3. Add milk , fish sauce, Chillies and lime juice to your liking. Sprinkle cilantro leave on top and serve with steamed rice.
