Tom Yum Talay is a Spicy Thai Seafood soup. It is very similar to Tom Yum Goong, but contains seafood.
1 lbs Mixed Seafood, Cleaned
3 cups Chicken Stock
2 Lemongrass, Thinly Sliced
1/3 cup Galangal Root, Sliced
5 Kaffir lime Leave, Torn in half
5 Bird Chillies, Crushed
1/2 cup mushroom,Cut in half
3 Tbsp. Fish Sauce
3-4 Tbs. Lime Juice
1 Tbsp. Num prik Pao ( roasted chili paste)
1/3 cup milk or coconut milk
a few spring cilantro Leaves for garnish
Bring the chicken stock to a boil, add the lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and boil for approximately 3 minutes.
Add Num prik Pao, mushrooms,seafood and simmer on medium heat until cooked .
Add milk , fish sauce, Chillies and lime juice to your liking. Sprinkle cilantro leave on top and serve with steamed rice.
